BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS

For they shall be called the children of God.

Indianapolis and the rest of us mourns the loss of IMPD Officer David Moore who was callously murdered by 60 year old Thomas Hardy one of the worst dregs of society and a revolving door career criminal.

Tell me where is the so-called concerned clergy and their barking dog Al Sharpton? Oh yeah they only crawl out of the woodwork to support criminals who get their feelings hurt by those who protect and serve. Al Sharpton, what a joke, I remember him from the Tawana Brawley fiasco: this is the ordeal where several high-ranking NYPD officers were falsely accused of sexually assaulting a young girl several years ago. It didn’t matter to Sharpton that the girl obviously made the whole thing up. He had an issue and wanted to become famous. He ended up becoming infamous instead. I can’t figure out why anybody gives this jackass any airtime or credibility. The so-called concerned clergy of Indy sure spends a lot of time kissing his ass whenever they can get Sharpton to come to Indy to drum up some negative attention on the IMPD. The so-called Rev. Sharpton and the so-called concerned clergy need to open their bibles (if they actually own one) and read the commandment “Thou shalt not bear false witness against they neighbour”.
This group tries to find a racist behind every corner. Maybe they need to spend some time looking in the mirror if they want to see where all the racists are.

To be sure the IMPD has had a few bad apples in the bunch, but they have been dealt with and what we have left is the best of the best.
Rest in peace David.

I don't know the particulars...
Is this a racial issue?
Was the cop killed because he was white?

We've got to be very careful not to take the lead of our beloved "appointed one" here. There is already enough racial division in this country to light the kindling.
Gimme more details, please.

There is a lot of problems with a racist group here in Indy called the concerned clergy, they get thier panties in a bunch whenever a black thug or drug dealer or murderer claims police brutality. They usually call that idiot Sharpton and he come into town and tries to stir everything up.

But that response doesn't address my question, C&C.

I'm not sure why this creep decided to end this mans life. G.B. It's very likely that race played the major role in this event. the point I was trying to make with this blog (and maybe I failed in that attempt)was every time a thug gets roughed up during an arrest in this city and he happens to be black, then you can be sure that these groups I wrote about will try to get thier faces on every newscast they can. They will defend any sort of lowlife out there as long as they can get some political milage out of it. Maybe my blog came off as being racist in itself, that was not my intention. I guess most of us that support law and order in Indy are frustrated that the a lot of the very people that need protection from criminals, do every thing in thier power to hinder the people who provide that protection. G.B., when I wrote this blog we had just found out that they removed the life support from officer Moore, we had been following this event as well as all the other shootings of police that happened in this country in less than a day. I'm sure my anger came out in this blog more than was intended, but that's where the vent comes into play. Thats the main purpose of writing this blog, to keep me from yelling at the TV :-)Thanks for taking the time to comment. I,m still new at this so if I didnt answer the question or you have suggestions, please let me have it,

Here's the deal...
I don't like being around low class people. They make me uncomfortable. I try to be very careful to remember that "low class" comes in various colors. If we beige folk begin to avoid others simply because they are brown, yellow, red, or chocolate, we'll miss out on some fine experiences.

I still haven't gotten any details as to what happened here, but my suspicion is that a black man killed a white cop, and it all started because the black man was behaving in a low class manner. I suspect it initially had little to do with the color of either man's skin. From that point it MAY have taken on the nastiness of race, but I bet I'll find it didn't start that way.

It's truly a shame. I had such high hopes that Obama, even though I didn't vote for him, would do what he claimed he'd do and bring us together closer as a nation...
all colors. Instead, with incidents like his "cops acted stupidly" fiasco, he's made me more aware that too many black folk still find themselves in the lower class, and under his leadership more and more of them seem to be getting militant about wanting someone to provide them a handout. What a terrible, sad way to experience life...
For ME, and for THEM.
And if we continue down this road we'll be shooting at one another at some point in the future.
God help us and provide a leader to make true changes, please.

Sadly, instead of bringing us all together, our first "black" president only caused us to be further apart.

There was alot of racial tension in our town this past year when the issues had nothing to do with race. And the media played us the racial aspect. They really played up the two city cop stories that were the exception, rather than the rule. And they quickly downplayed the story that was clearly racially motivated where an IMPD officer was injured at a "demonstration" at a black church where the cop was trying to help the youth and the "leaders" of the church started a fake fight that entrapped the cop and one of the participants seriously injured the cop when he tried to intervene on what he thought was a real fight.

We're all a little sensitive here in town now.

Okay.
Sensitive can be good.
But I think you'll agree that we MUST NOT be like Al Sharpton...
Not ALL black/white friction is racial.
We MUST be careful to differentiate between "normal" troubles and racial troubles.

Can we agree, this cop is not dead because of a racial issue?

G. B. I agree, garbage comes in all colors, and so does good folks. My job requires that I go into a lot of people’s homes, some good, some not so good. Some of the nastiest houses I have been in were in an area of town mainly populated by white-trash.
Running inner-city calls I meet good and bad people. I don’t know if Hardy shot Officer Moore because the cop was white. Who I was calling out are the Concerned Clergy, Sharpton, and any other groups who fan the flames of racial hatred just to make a buck or to see their names in the paper. I believe in the message of rev. Martin Luthe King that people should be judged by the content of their character not the color of their skin. Unfortunatley these groups are like the KKK and promote racism for their own selfish needs. This is something I feel needs to be exposed and I will post more on this practice of promoting one race over another be they black or white. I probably shouldn’t have connected this subject with this tragic event, but I feel it’s a problem that will only get worse if we make excuses for the Sharptons, the Jessie Jackson, the Rev. Wrights the concerned clergy, and all the other hate groups be they black or white.
