THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING PRESIDENTIAL PROMISE

2008, The new Obama Administration promises to "have the most open and transparent administration in the history of the U.S.

“My administration is committed to creating an unprecedented level of openness in Government. We will work together to ensure the public trust and establish a system of transparency, public participation, and collaboration. Openness will strengthen our democracy and promote efficiency and effectiveness in Government.”

The Obama Department Of Justice refuses to prosecute The New Black Panther Party for voter intimidation when there was overwhelming evidence and video proving the case. Obama appointee Attorney General Eric Holder refused to elaborate as to why.

Obama creates an enemies list of corporations he deems unfavorable and blackballs any attempts to be awarded government contracts.

Obama makes secret deals with corrupt unions such as the SEIU that use thug tactics to intimidate opposition.

Obama administration refusal or non-response to thousands of request for FOIA (Freedom Of Information Act) documents.

Obama allows national security leaks that promotes an image of a strong leader, for campaign purposes including giving a friendly film maker  unprecedented national security information to produce a "Obama Kills Bin Laden" film to be released right before the 2012 election.

Obama appointee Attorney General Eric Holder D.O.J. lied to Congress and the American people about Fast and Furious. What he knew and when he knew it. They also lied when they said this operation was begun by the Bush administration. Holder is close to being held in Contempt of Congress for his refusal to turn over incriminating documents. 
Obama upped the ante on June 20^th by invoking “Executive Privilege”  in an apparent attempt to cover up White House involvement in operation Fast and Furious and it’s cover up of  responsibility in the deaths of a border agent and innocent civilians.

Obama refuses to answer questions regarding the over half billion dollars of taxpayer monies lost by Solyndra, a supposed “Green Jobs” program.

One of many companies that enjoy a “special’ relationship with Obama campaign coffers, that get sweetheart deals and stimulus money.

Obama uses ACORN a corrupt “community organizing group” to commit voter fraud across the nation. This group was exposed several times for other crimes such as promoting underage prostitution and obtaining taxpayers dollars by fraud.

Last year 4 organizations whose focus is transparency in the Government honored Obama by bestowing upon him an award for his administrations deep commitment to transparency. 
The act of giving such an award to a president who is in charge of the most corrupt and closed off administration in the history of the U.S. defines the word irony. 
The fact that Obama accepted that award behind closed White House doors with no press allowed, makes the word "irony" inadequate.
